HUMAN RESOURCES & PAYROLL MANAGER
About The Grifter Brewing Company
We’re one of Sydney’s most loved independent craft breweries, based in the heart of Marrickville. At The Grifter, we’re proud to be a B Corp Certified business holding ourselves to the highest standards of social and environmental performance.
We offer an exciting, inclusive and innovative work culture where our people are genuinely supported to grow and thrive.
We have a permanent part-time Human Resources & Payroll Manager position available in Marrickville, working Monday to Friday for a minimum of 24–32 hours per week from our Marrickville Office or Brewery.
Reporting to the General Manager, this new role is responsible for the entire employment lifecycle for all our team members. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, support our venue teams with training and staff development, and ensure compliance with Fair Work. The role also carries direct responsibility for payroll management.
This role requires a diligent and strategic approach to building the best teams in our venues, as well as strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a diverse workplace culture where people are excited to come to work.
This is a people-first role, so being present, approachable and available matters. It's primarily an in-office role (around three days per week), working from home will be considered on a case-by-case basis for tasks that need focused headspace.
